TCL was proud to make the holiday season a little brighter for more than a dozen Minneapolis-area children from low-income households, who currently have or recently had a parent in the military deployed overseas, for the Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation’s annual Holiday Shopping for Kids.
Each of the 14 kids were given a $500 Target shopping spree with the Timberwolves players present to help them fill their baskets. In addition, as a Timberwolves partner, TCL was excited to help out with the shopping spree and surprise each child with a new 1080p Full HD 40” TCL Roku TV™, providing endless streaming entertainment for the kids and their families.
A number of players were on and to make the event truly unforgettable for the kids and their families. Players such as Tyus Jones, Andrew Wiggins, Karl-Anthony Towns, and the entire team lent a helping hand as kids shopped for themselves and their loved ones.
As a long-time partner of the team, TCL has previously worked with the Timberwolves on other charity events. Most recently, we partnered with Timberwolves guard Tyus Jones to help outfit a new technology lab at his former elementary school with smart TVs.
