TCL Cares About Its Communities
As one of the core pillars of TCL Cares, TCL prides itself on serving its local communities. Giving back and supporting these members is a key part of TCL and we are committed to creating new opportunities to continue giving back and making positive impacts to all members of these communities.
Emilio Nares Foundation
In September 2018, TCL kicked off its TCL Cares initiative as it announced its support of the Emilio Nares Foundation (ENF), an organization that helps underserved families navigate their child’s journey with cancer. Part of this support included TCL raising nearly $30,000 during that time to help ENF deliver their mission of helping families deal with childhood Cancer.
Recently we teamed up with LA running back, Melvin Gordon, to support ENF and CHOC Children’s Hospital where he joined patients in the ENF van as they were transported to appointments. We proudly presented a donation to ENF from money he raised through TCL's annual 4K Football Challenge.
Sports Partners
TCL partners with multiple professional and collegiate sports organizations including the Minnesota Timberwolves, UCLA Athletics and the Anaheim Ducks. With the help of these partners TCL gives back to the community through a variety of events.
Recently through our partnership with the Minnesota Timberwolves, TCL helped spread the holiday spirit with the aid of Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities. At this event the Timberwolves hosted the 2019-20 Jr. Pack for their annual Pack Gives Back Holiday Shopping for Kids. Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins, along with the entire Timberwolves roster and coaches, paired up with a Jr. Pack member to shop. TCL surprised each youth with a 40” TCL Roku TV as part of the shopping spree.
